How does Sedation Dentistry work?

You will need a "designated driver" to accompany you to your appointment.

When you arrive in our office, you will be escorted into the treatment room and your sedation will be administered to you by mouth (pill), breathing mask (laughing gas), or arm drip (IV).  After you are comfortable, the experienced clinical team at Eastern Shore Smile Solutions will take care of your dental needs.

Sedation can be accomplished in many ways.  Different "levels" of sedation are available to patients based on their individual needs or desires.

When your treatment is completed, your companion will return you home to finish your comfortable, relaxing day.
